Balhan Tower. It was part of a fort built in the XII° century by the Counts of Champagne. Jean Balhan, grain merchant, made it his home in the XVI° century, it then became the Golden Sheep Hotel in the XVII° century. 33 metres high, it houses a chapel dedicated to Sainte Barbe. Access by an ogival vaulted staircase. |

Petits Prés Gardens. Designed by Blanche d'Artois, it used to be the meeting place of the local gentry and the site of festivals and entertainment. The visitors can now admire the beautiful flower beds and view the sculptures set among the flowers. |

Saint Peter's Gate. It is the only one remaining from the four Middle Ages gates. Through this gate, Joan of Arc and Charles VII are said to have passed in 1429, after chasing the Burgonds from the city. Exhibitions are organized the year round by the Tourist Office. City Hall. According to the tradition, it was installed in a house located "Crochet" street, seat of the city administration and justice. The judges were transferred to the Cordeliers Convent in 1791, to make more room for the city administration. In 1876, it was decided to demolish it and a new city hall was built and dedicated by Raymond Poincaré. |

The ancient chapel "La Benoîte
Madeleine". It was built in 1306 by Philippe le Bel as a shrine for his wife's soul Jeanne de Navarre. At the end of the XIV° century, pieces of land that surround it were annexed and transformed in cemetery of the parish Saint-Crépin. It was disuses during the Revolution and used as prison in 1825. The Municipal Library was loged in it since 1920 until nowaday (recently moved in the area Jea Macé). |

Jean de La Fontaine Statue. .Ordered by Louis XVIII to the sculptor Laitié, it shows the poet aged 40. It was damaged during the First World War, when Jeannot Lapin lost an ear. Formerly installed place Jean de La Fontaine, it now stands at the corner of United States square, formerly place du Champ de Mars. |
